One of the largest manufacturers of eastern white pine, Hancock distributes our world-class pine boards throughout the state at our retail lumberyards, across all of North America, and around the entire globe. Proprietary grades and custom packaging and tally options are just two reasons why Every Board Counts from Hancock Lumber. Every log our mills receive is 100% utilized—that’s right, there is zero waste! Bark is used for mulch, chips used for paper, sawdust used for fuel, shavings used for animal bedding—and, of course, the pine logs milled into boards for building. The average journey a tree takes from harvest to mill is 50-miles. Hancock Pine products are locally and sustainably grown and manufactured here in Maine, creating an eco-friendly manufacturing footprint for an eco friendly product.
